September 16, 2024 I made history here today. I HAD POUTINE!!! First time in my life - ever! And you know what? I loved it! It felt so decadent. Melted cheese bits, rich gravy, crispy fries, and lots of chicken. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

September 14, 2024 My appointments will be every second day for a while, so here I am! I ordered falafel on rice (hooked on the falafels). Not disappointed. Also really enjoyed the cool sweetness of the creamy coleslaw. I was there about 6:45pm and it was busy. The guys at the grill were hopping and a new girl was being trained at the cash ...good thing manager Viraj had everything under control.

September 12, 2024 I'm back! Another appointment puts me in the neighborhood and I couldn't be any more content. I love the busy little vibe of this place; the friendly banter behind the counter and at the grill, the customers coming and going, and the aroma of good stuff being cooked. I've fallen in love with their falafel (so crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside), so today was a falafel bowl with rice and fries. The fries are always good, but that rice!!! I was so surprised!! So deeelish!!! More!! More!!

September 10, 2024 Another day, another taste adventure. Today I was hunting down something in a bowl. So, what I decided on was falafel and salad. Wow! The crispy outside of each tasty little ball matched with the texture of the inside is superb. And there's a little kick of a delicious spice I don't recognize that just hits you at the end of each bite. Mmmmm mmm. 😋 The salad was amazing and it had pickles in it!! Tahini on top....so good!

September 6, 2024 I'm baaack! Always looking to try something new, today's choice was the kebab wrap. Warm bread wrapped around bite after bite of deliciousness! Accompanied by a side order of fries lightly dusted with sumac - a perfect combo meal, topped off with a diet Pepsi.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I think something in a bowl may be next when I'm here again on September 10th! Stay tuned...

September 2, 2024 Appointment done, I'm here at Shawarma Royale, wanting something wonderful. Warm greeting and friendly smile from Angeli at cash as soon as I walked in. I had already decided on a falafel wrap. While Dakesh, Abdullah, and Imtiyaz were in the kitchen/grill area, busy putting heart and soul into all the good stuff, I sat and waited patiently. My sandwich arrived, cuf in half and without turnip as requested, and it was sooo good! Fully stuffed - and I didn't miss the meat! I also ordered a takeout chicken shawarma for lunch tomorrow. After all, I won't be anywhere near here! Can't wait until my next appointment on September 6th, so I can stop by and try something else!

August 29, 2024 After my 7pm appointment today, I headed directly here. I had called earlier, and yes, their full menu was available. I chose the beef and lamb meal, and even though it wasn't presented exactly as shown on the menu, it sure packed a heckuva punch in both flavor and portion size. Khaled patiently answered all my questions with a smile, while the others on the young team were equally friendly, working with energy and passion. The restaurant was busy, the food was delicious - overall, a highly enjoyable experience.

August 25, 2024 Today, while on my way back from a medical appointment, I noticed this new little restaurant for the first time. They were offering a chicken shawarma for $4.99 as an opening special (no other menu items today), with only garlic sauce and pickles (!) as condiments. The best part was, there was also a "discount wheel"! Spin the wheel and get a discount off the $4.99 price, anywhere from 5% to 100%... I spun and got 45% off! My shawarma with tax cost $2.89. Want to hear more? It was delicious!!! I have to pass this restaurant every 4-6 days, so they will be seeing a lot more of me for sure! Thanks for putting out such...

I used to support this place and would come here weekly, but now I really can’t anymore, not when you keep tricking paying customers. While I don’t want to use the word “scam”, repeatedly letting customers know of a change to the order only after paying for it is just unfair, and you are all there in front of the kitchen, you can see what’s sold out and what’s available before we pay. I initially got bowls from here and they were good, filled, meat was tender and the orders were correct. I used to get two meals out of it. They would add hot sauce and pomegranate molasses in a to go bag. They used to ask to leave positive reviews (followed by a free drink) which I initially did since the food was good. Now they don’t add sauces on the side anymore. They were just trying to buy good reviews. They then started to shrink the portions and the meat was always either dry, or never available (mind you it’s a location that brags for being open until late night) They then consistently started running out of rice, salad or fries…all their basis basically. The issue is that they will tell you what they ran out of only AFTER you paid for your order. This has happened multiple times before I stopped coming here. Today I gave it another try. It happened again. I ordered rice, paid for rice and only after a while I get told “rice is sold out”. I then asked for it to be replaced by salad (as I’ve done here in the past because of the same issue) and they agreed. To my surprise when I opened my bowl at home I found out HALF of the entire bowl was onions. Not salad but just a bowl of raw onions. I clearly also specified the toppings I selected (tomatoes, lettuce) and in the entire bowl there was one leaf of salad and a small slice of tomato. In case it’s unclear, this is exactly how you will lose loyal customers and it doesn’t look like management is interested in training their employees correctly. Other recent reviews are pointing out the same issues so consider it before your next order here.

First review (2024): Been going here a few times so far and the food never disappointed, their portions are good and prices are very reasonable. Quality has also been good too and they don’t charge you extra if they are out of one item and need to substitute it. Just maybe don’t go too late in the evening as they might not have the option of meat you want. Service is good too, they always acknowledge you as soon as...

I recently visited Shawarma Royale and tried their Chicken Shawarma Bowl and Chicken Shawarma Wrap—and both dishes absolutely hit the spot! The flavors were bold, fresh, and well-balanced. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, paired with crisp veggies, creamy garlic sauce, and fluffy rice in the bowl. The wrap was equally satisfying, with the right ratio of meat to toppings, all wrapped in warm, soft pita bread.

From the moment I walked in, he made sure I felt taken care of. He double-checked that my food met quality standards and even asked for feedback to ensure everything was up to my expectations. His genuine attitude and attention to detail made a big difference.

In a fast-paced world where good service is rare, Pritom stood out for going the extra mile. It’s people like him that make you want to come back—not just for the food, but for the entire experience.
