So happy that they have opened this supermarket at this location. Kudos to the owners for taking time to open up a grocery that is clean, has a variety of items and you can see that they are hard workers. It's so convenient for people in the area to get all their traditional groceries from India and for anyone really. Lastly and most importantly is the little grill they have in the back. You can get delicious snacks, burgers etc. The head chef is a hard worker and him and his staff take their time time when making the food and ensure customers are satisfied. Yum yum

Edit: I haven't seen the same chef in a while. Everyone since takes long just to make one dahi puri, I always say no spice and it ends up being spicy waste of my money, they can barely understand me what I'm saying or asking because of language issue. Very dissapointing this change. Guy can't even put the yogurt properly. Again only complaint is change with kitchen staff rest of the store is great. Some fresh product items haven't been the best.

You know so many times I say not spicy and you guys still make it spicy. I spend 20 bucks on three containers all for it to not be enjoyable for myself and my kids. The lady who works in the kitchen know how to make it properly can you please have her train the other people to understand what...

I would give zero stars if possible. I bought 2 puffs from this FreshChoice Indian Supermarket. I started consuming the puff after going home in 10 minutesand found out that the quality of puff is compromised.

There was fungus all inside the stuffing of the puff.

I went to the store immediately on the same day and showed them the product(puff). I talked to the person who looked like the manager of the store. He said that ‘This happens at your home too. This is not something that happens only at my store’.

I am replying here … ‘Yes, the food at my house may get stale or smell bad somethings but we do not serve bad food to our family members or guests. You are selling food with fungus…. Mistakes happen but how you handle them and make sure it does not happen again is more important.’

Very bad food and customer service…. I suggest to my fellow friends and customers of this store to never buy store made food from FreshChoice Indian Supermarket. It is...

I ordered "Sabudana Khichdi" on October 5th, 2024, at 6:52 pm, and I did my payment before. They said it's running busy, so it might take 20-25 minutes and then I gave them 30 minutes and when I went to the restaurant at 7:22 pm. Then the girl who took my order realized that she had forgotten my order to prepare, then she took the frying kadhai and ingredients from the fridge and started frying on the stove. I saw that in front of my eyes through the curtain between front and kitchen. I was so pissed off on them because I hadn't had anything since morning, and they prepared my order in so hurry that it even didn't taste good, stale with no flavors. It tasted like everything just mixed together in oil. There is so much imbalanced oil and spices, but no concluded taste.

I am attaching my order receipt.

I am warning the owner of "The Swad" Restaurant that takes care of these things as it may create big consequences in a...

ONE STOP SHOP FOR EXPIRED FOOD/GOODS. This grocery sells the best expired food. From their veggies to dry goods. 90% of their food is expired. I recently bought a Britannia muffin from their store and the product was expired 4 months ago and the color of the cake was also very different. Not sure if anyone would do this but I am 100% is going to recommend their store to the TORONTO PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT. If you confront them about the expired food items they will tell you it’s okay just pick another item that is not expired. GENIUS ADVISE from the store people.
