edit to respond The incense was not a problem, I use incense.. it was not a pleasant smell. Maybe it was not what I actually described but it was very gross. Regarding the kids… regardless whether you’ve been in business 18 years and that’s your “humour” you never grab or touch a child ever. Under any circumstance. The boys’ reaction was very unsure and uncomfortable. Other negative reviews regarding their children’s experiences visiting this store seem to align with what we witnessed. Safe to say I wouldn’t want to bring my child here.
Personally I wouldn’t come here again. They do have some unique cool items but the store smelled AWFUL (dirty cat litter box smell).. both of us noticed right away and were grossed out. It was extremely expensive.. like a lot of convience/candy stores are however $30 for 12 cans of soda seems wild to me. What bothered me most above all is 2 kids had come into the store and were ahead of us. The guy behind counter was joking around with the kids in a “aggressive ” way .. the kids were very awkward and unsure and didn’t take it very well.. then the cashier reached over and grabbed the boy by the arm very firmly and quickly. Me and my hubby were shocked and watched carefully.. we walked up during our turn and the cashier picked up that we were uncomfortable and just said “I’m allergic to kids” I think it was the cashier’s sense of humour and maybe was harmless but it was overall very uncomfortable and you should never touch someone else’s kid EVER. Again they do have unique candy and drinks if your willing to spend a...

This Ed’s experience started off by him being 30 minutes late to open the store and not caring, great start. This was one of the many times I’ve been to Ed’s for years and for the first time when I paid with cash ($140) and the rest on debit after the debit payment went through he said you only gave me $130 you owe me another ten after putting the money in the drawer x2 $50 x2 $10 and x4 $5’s he then took it out leaving one ten in the drawer and then demanding I pay him the remaining amount.I turned to the lady behind me and said this is ridiculous it was $140 what he said after counting it and she stated $140. He waved me off and said here’s your bag. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CASH. This cashier was new to me it has been awhile since I’ve been to Eds but for your own sake do not risk trying to be scammed and having no one line behind you to vouch for you. Nobody should walk into a business to spend their hard earned money...
Read moreIve been a fan on Tiktok for a couple years now but I live in Edmonton so I never had the chance to visit before. Luckily I was on vacation this year and was just passing through Langley today so I finally took the opportunity to visit! It was 100% worth it!!! Im a huge candy and sweets consumer, been to lots of candy stores in BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, worked at one too. This is so far one of my favourites. The variety and selection was like nothing ive seen before. They had interesting items like Ring Pop flavoured drinks, Band-aid gummies and Starburst freezes. The variety selection on Pringle’s was huge! They also have a lot of different flavours for Mentos and Hi-chews as well. Same goes for the drink selection, they had Skittles, Ghost, Redbulls, Monsters, Moutain dews, Prime, etc… I would definitely recommend visiting this candy store if your in the area or passing by. The music was very upbeat and not too...
