European Meats — Local services in Winnipeg

I have been coming to this place since I was little for the last 25 years. My dad would smoke his turkeys every new year's that he would get from his work and we love how they do them there. You can eat it cold or hot, that's how good they smoke turkeys. This is a must try shop. Excellent service and prices. Aside from that, I am hooked on their Caribbean jerk pork roast, pepperoni sticks and smokies. I crave this at least once a month and thank god I live close by in the northend. I highly recommend this place to anyone out there in need of a good butcher shop, they don't make places like these anymore so it's always good to support local. Use to come here 30 yrs ago .was 5 star than and I'm glad it's still now!! Everything your heart desires! From 4 types of headcheese to out of this world pastrami,corn beef and A-1 pricing .Don't let the exterior of this old school icon ,once in u will understand , Everything is there for u to see, excellent pricing for loading up your freezer for the year! This place is a treasure. I wanted some chickens for roasting. I ordered and when i went to pick up i was surprised. The shop, once inside, reminded me of the country butchers i used to go to when i was a girl 50 plus years ago. The chickens were great. I also was given a smokie,as a sample, to taste.
