Disrespected, Dismissed, and Deeply Disappointed I Will Never Return

I had a terrible experience at Red River Ex this year that left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. After waiting over 30 minutes in line for the Swing Tower ride, one of the staff members, Bradley, stopped us because my ride wristband had slid from my wrist to my fingers. It was still completely intact and valid. Instead of simply checking it and letting us through, he told us to go all the way back and rejoin the line.

While I was calmly explaining that the wristband was still clearly on my hand, he completely ignored me. What hurt the most was that he opened the side gate and let other people in while I was still standing there trying to explain. I felt completely invisible. It honestly felt like I was being singled out because I’m Black and Muslim.

I never expected to feel this kind of discrimination in Canada. It was shocking and upsetting. I tried calling customer service, hoping for help or at least an apology but they were rude and dismissive, offering no solution at all.

What should have been a fun day turned into a painful and disappointing experience. Red River Ex seriously needs to train their staff on basic respect and sensitivity. I would never recommend this event to anyone and I will...

My family and I recently had the pleasure of attending the Red River Exhibition and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped foot onto the vibrant fairgrounds, I was blown away by the incredible atmosphere and the wide variety of activities available.

The Red River Exhibition truly offers something for everyone. Whether you're a thrill-seeker, a foodie, or a lover of live entertainment, this annual event has it all. The thrilling rides cater to people of all ages, and the smile-inducing games and challenges guarantee endless laughter and excitement. From classic favorites to exhilarating new attractions, there is never a dull moment.

The food selection at the Red River Exhibition is beyond amazing. The enticing aromas wafting through the air will make your taste buds jump with anticipation. From deep-fried delicacies to mouthwatering barbecues, the options are endless. And don't even get me started on the delectable treats available at every corner - funnel cakes, cotton candy, and a variety of other sweets that will make your inner child squeal with delight!

Overall, I highly recommend the Red River Exhibition to anyone looking for an extraordinary celebration of fun, food, and entertainment. It truly is an event that caters to all ages...

The food was amazing, the lines weren’t that bad, but the only bad thing about the experience was the ride called “mock 3”. The workers were giving freebies to these guys that look like they were friends. They didn’t have a wristband nor tickets. They were by the exit and not even in the line. I don’t think that is very professional and I just think that’s plain rude. I don’t know why I spent $50 to not even enjoy that ride. The thing is that we would’ve been able to go on the ride in time if they didn’t let those “friends” go on. And the person that was working the ride also decided to go on the ride with one of their “friends”. I think this is totally unfair to me and other people. Maybe get better workers that act professional and don’t try to act like they are teenagers again, but Personally I think when you are working somewhere especially the fair you shouldn’t be able to just go on that ride and waste peoples time just because their trying to act cool and take advantage of other people’s time. Get better crew mates that actually act professional. But overall red river x was an good...

The rides are always fun, the lines … not so much. It was clean and lots of security and staff which is always great. Niagara falls was broke down for a bit but they got it up and running fairly fast ( couple hours). It’s an expensive event, money to park, money to get in the gate, $$ for rides, fast pass and and and. Apparently paying extra for a fast pass isn’t as wonderful as you’d think. They cap how many “fast riders” get to go per turn. One ride said 4 and the guy was only taking 2 at a time so it was actually quicker to go in the normal line which defeats the fast pass purpose. Lots of good food options but very pricy. One venue had no prices posted and I ended up paying $46 for a watermelon drink and 2 pieces of odd tasting corn. There was a one man band doing live entertainment for people eating and he was great! The games are way over priced!! $10 for 1 try or $20 for 3 … hopefully your kiddos don’t wanna play the games, you’ll go broke. All in all a good time with the fam.
