FYI...Be aware if your thinking of joining this board. I travelled 3 provinces to work as a Teacher Assistant and start a new life. I was told what my wage would be, only to discover that you are actually paid $2.00 or more LESS than what you are told when you are hired. After several attempts to figure this out, I discovered that they use a smooth pay system, where they spread your pays over the school year, thus making your wage alot less. Roads are absolutely horrible..... Last year it took one little piece of snow and they closed schools and now the roads are horrific and not even a message up letting people know they have to drive on the roads to get to school this morning. Lastnight we almost watched many many accidents happen on our way home from the mall. And we only live 3 minutes away from the mall may I remind you. The roads have just gotten worse and then whoever is making decisions up for the school is being completely retarded.
