A local friend recommended white sands for the early tour. We booked the 7am stringray city tour to avoid the crowds. We arrived at the dock at 7am and were told by the harbor employee that the boat had already left. We were never told to arrive early or exactly what time the boat would leave. We called the office and left a voicemail letting them know that noone was there at 7am. The office doesn't open until 9am, so we returned to our apt. And waited for a return call. We called the office told them what had happened. With some confusion and no apology, they put us on the only available tour at 10:30am. (When its most crowded). In hindsight we should have just cancelled. But we we're afraid we would be charged anyways since they already had our credit card information. Captain Chris was cold and didn't say much to us until we were in the water. The conversation came up that we missed the 7am tour. He became defensive and claimed that he didn't leave until 7:06am. And all but called me a liar. I told him i know what time i was there and that boat was not in the harbor at 7:06am. We agreed to disagree. As a client paying good money for a proffesional service, i expected to at least be treated with some respect. I feel Chris was arrogant and disrespectful, and unproffesional. A simple apology for the miscommunication from the office or the captain would have resolved all issues, and i would not have left this review. I will say that Chris was very knowledgeable and respectfull with the stingrays. That is why i...

We are so thankful that God put White Sand in our paths! Jefferson was amazing! He attended to our every need! Made sure we were all ok and watched over us! Super friendly and funny! Would used them anytime! Glad we booked with them instead of Ocean frontier! We initially were supposed to use Ocean Frontiers but one short lady at the Wyndham store was rude and very unfriendly! Would not care to help us out and had a bad attitude. We asked questions and she basically belittled us. Did not care to guide us or give us decent information. Why work customer service if you can’t be polite? The guy on the other hand was super helpful and treated us like humans! Luckily we booked White Sand without knowing the blessing our guide was! Jefferson was awesome and gave us the best experience! He was super friendly, generous and explained everything in detail. He was super knowledgeable! As we walked on the dock to leave with White Sand we bumped into Ocean frontiers, and once again unfriendly and arrogant people! So very thankful we found White Sand! They had no idea whom they were treating so poorly! Thank you white sand for an excellent experience! Oh by the way, Jefferson is equipped with extra gear in case you forgot something! Great...

Our adventure with Chris and the early morning Stingray tour was exceptional. We actually went with him twice this month with two different sets of friends. Meeting at the Kaibo dock at 6:45 am was wonderful as the sun was rising and the sky over the ocean was spectacular. Being part of a small group who had the honour and privilege of being the first visitors of the day for these beautifully graceful and fascinating creatures was an absolutely magical experience. Chris was delightfully engaging, sharing his in depth knowledge of the stingrays, their habits and habitats, the history of the area and his obvious love and respect for them. We learned so much as he patiently answered our endless questions and ensured we all had an opportunity to feed, hold and kiss the rays ( for good luck!). Following our visit with the rays we headed off to snorkel as the fleet of other boats and tourists started arriving to see the rays. Taking us to out to two different locations each time we went out with him, Chris set us up for beautiful snorkelling spots where we saw a wide variety of colourful and interesting underwater life. I’d absolutely recommend this outing as one of the best excursions we...

We booked the Bioluminescence Tour, as well as the Grand Tour - Snorkeling, StingRay City, Starfish Point, and Sea Turtle Centre through WSWS and I recommend all activities to anyone who asks! Just don't forget sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen and water, water, water. All of our tour guides were very knowledgeable about the sea life we encountered and emphasized respect and responsibility in caring for their well-being. I was, and still am, a bit on the fence about the exploitation of these animals for profit, but if people actually LISTEN to the guides and follow their directions, it's an amazing chance to experience something that is likely once-in-a-lifetime for many, and is very educational and, hopefully, humbling for all. As a lover of nature who lives nearly in Canada, it was nothing short of exquisite to trade the mountains for the ocean for just a week. The world has so much to offer, don't go to the light until you've seen as much as you can!

We recently chartered a boat with White Sand Water Sports for our group of 14 — eight adults and six children ranging in age from 4 to 12 — and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our captain, Jeffrey, was exceptional. He had a remarkable ability to engage with every member of our group, ensuring that everyone felt included. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the ocean, which made the experience both fun and educational for the kids and equally enjoyable for the adults. Jeffrey guided us to some of the area’s best spots, creating a perfect balance between adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable encounters with marine life. The time on the water was seamless, well-organized, and truly a highlight of our trip.
