Raffles Ascott Chengdu is nothing short of amazing & I would definitely rate this serviced apartment 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during our stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Prices are reasonable. The 2-bedroom apartment has everything that we needed from a washing machine, dryer (these are available for Studio Executive rooms & above, but I understand that there’s a need to reserve in advance as not all rooms are equipped), kitchenette etc. and the service from the staff was impeccable.
Some noteworthy details: Our stay was initially planned for 4D3N but due to a bad bout of flu, we found ourselves needing to extend our stay for another 3 nights. Throughout this challenging time, the Raffles Ascott Chengdu team went above & beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being, for which we are truly grateful. We would like to give a special shout out to staff Rainbow Li at the front desk, who made our hotel extension seamless, and staff Kristin for walking us all the way to Taikang Clinic to ensure that we had a doctor to attend to us. There was also a kind business manager who also came to check on us regularly to ensure that we were OK. Our stay truly felt like a home away from home, and we are immensely grateful for the warmth & hospitality shown to us during our entire stay. The hotel is located near the metro so it was convenient to get around. Due to the location, it’s also relatively cheap to get around the key attractions (e.g. less than ¥20 to get to Kuanzhai Alley) by Didi. The hotel is also situated right on top of the Raffles City shopping mall with plenty of food options, shopping, bubble tea joints and even a supermarket. Breakfast selection was petite but decent. Our favourites were the dumplings and Dan Dan noodles from the live station (so good!). The hotel was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. Out of so many international hotels that we stayed in our 2-week trip, this baby cot was the best. Our baby slept well. There was a complimentary toiletries set and towel arrangement when we indicated that the stay was for our anniversary.
Thank you once again, Raffles Ascott Chengdu team! We had a great stay here. Will...

Wifi speed is not very good though unfortunately.
Breakfast is good, not great. But there is enough to choose from and it hasn't been crowded at all the two times I've been there.
Location is in Raffles City shoppingmall where there are some restaurants and cafés etc.
Closest metro station is Sichuan Gymnasium which is around 5 minutes...
Read moreWorst hotel I have ever experienced in my visits to China thus far. Breakfast area is small, not enough tables and long Q forming and was told to come back 30 mins later when breakfast timing ends in 10 mins. Lift took forever to arrive. Super bad experience with this place . Staffs are rude and unfriendly. Strongly discouraged. Please stay away from this hotel. Don’t let this bad hotel ruin your...
