Shamrock Irish Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Chengdu

Starting off, this place is still open. I’ve read a lot of reviews indicating it’s the wrong location on Google Maps and where to go. Huaxiba metro station and use exit C. That is correct, but where do you go from there? As soon as you walk up the stairs at exit C, stop, turn around and face the intersection. You’re going to turn right at the intersection and walk down the street for approximately 150 metres and then you will find it within a small strip of restaurants. Now for the actual restaurant review. I found the food to be good. Pints of Guinness are actually more expensive than back home. The atmosphere did not resemble anything of an Irish pub. It was very bright and bland with a few photos of Ireland...

We loved it here!! Great place to watch sports and catch up with friends... A lot of expats hang out here... However, don't come hungry... They have popular American dishes but the servings are something only a toddler would be...

The google maps location is wrong!!!! Definitely worth a detour John the owner is so kind and some of the best Guinness I've had outside of Ireland. Look for 11 university road that's where it actually is...
