UPDATE (Apr 2022): It pains me to withdraw my favourable comments and rating a year earlier (1200 views) in the light of recent dismal experience shopping at Aurora.
In last 12 months, I have bought 2 more MKS padels, 3 headlights, two tyres etc there. One MKS panel had cracking sound when rotated upon installation like 2 to 3 days after purchase, indicating bearing issue. Never seen this before in any padel. I sent a video clip to Aurora recording the unmistakable cracking sound only to be told I had to bring it to Hong Kong authorized dealer at Sheung Shui presumably to claim under the 10 year warranty. I read that to mean "none of our biz". I asked Aurora what about their own invoice saying "product to be replaced within 7 days in case of product quality issue not misuse as long as original packing is intact"? I got no more response.
This is not to dissuade anyone from buying there but you need to know what they claim at their invoice is not always worth the paper written on.
(Apr 2021) Bought a pair of MKS pedals there when everywhere else I looked ran out of stocks. Good price too.
Hope they can update their Web page better as the pedals were listed as out of stocks at their webpage but, viola, plenty of stocks and many other MKS models too. You are well advised to call the shop and there may be pleasant surprise.
I believe the shop has expanded in size since my last visit a few years back. Decent collection of stuff. They ship for free at purchase over HKD500 or so, I believe, so you don't necessarily have to visit them physically.
Only minor downside is they just sell parts with no workshop to install stuff for you. You need to know what to do with the...
Read moreThe shop owner is knowledgeable and professional, he would offer great advice about cycling. The shop location isn’t the easiest to find however the low price for the product is a great trade off. The products prices are one of the cheapest you can get in Hong Kong, the shop is not big but offers all the essentials, plenty of bike tools and bike parts selection. Their Shimano bike parts are especially full with most groupset available in stock in a cheap price. Would recommend to anybody who is trying to buy anything related to cycling. The only negative points are they do not sell cycling shoes or jerseys, only a limited supply of shoes. They also don’t take credit card and the shop...
