Hotel was not too far from the airport, it about a 20 minute ride however our experience was not the best as the day we landed there was the level 8 typhoon warning so the first 2 days were sorta wasted, the city and streets were dirty from the aftermath however HK were quick to address it and were cleaning things up.
The hotel itself i would rate it 7.5/10, the lounge area and facilities were very modern and well kept, our check in was very fast and the rooms were decenty sized, our second room was much smaller as there was a huge box that took up a good portion of the room however the first room was decently spacious and clean. Bathroom was big, had quite a bit of space with many amenities like bodygel, handwash, toothpaste/toothbrush that are replaced daily. Housekeeping is done to a good standard, bedsheets alongside towels, toilet rolls, waterbottles and tea bags are restocked everyday. The housekeeping ladies are very kind too and very accomadating.
The Hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Kwai Hing station which is the closest MTR station. On the way to the MTR there are many shops such as Familymart, mcdonalds, and many 7/11s. However that is not the only way to get to the MTR, there is a shuttle service every 30 mins which drops you off to Kwai Chung station and picks you up from there to bring you back to Hotel Cozi. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel although I never used it so i am unsure on where it goes, maybe it takes you to the city but i imagine it would be pretty slow compared to MTR.
One piece of advice that I will offer which will make your life much easier is if you are going to the Kwai Hing MTR station, dont exit from the front as you will need to take a long flight of stairs and walk extra, unless thats your thing. I would much more recommend exiting from the car park area and also entering from there as you dont need to take a huge flight of stairs and there are elevators from the...
Read moreThe gentlemen at the luggage counter (possibly named Thomas and Eagle) were very helpful, assisting us in booking a cab and getting an elevator, and they provided useful information. The shower had a strong stream, and the design of the hotel was good. The cleaner was very friendly, and the check-out process was quick and easy—simply returning the cards at the desk. There was also the option to store luggage before check-in, which was convenient. Across the street, there was a good restaurant called Tai Ji, easily reachable via the walk bridge. However, the hygiene in the hotel was poor, with ants everywhere and mold in the bathroom. The beds were extremely hard with no headboard, and the pillows lacked support, prompting me to bring my own cushion. The man at check-in, Louis Fung, had a very bad attitude—unfriendly and unhelpful, often responding rudely to questions. Check-in took a long time and, despite offering payment, early check-in was not allowed, which made the experience especially unpleasant after a long-haul flight. The hotel is also quite far from the nearest metro station, requiring a 10-minute walk. While the Hong Kong metro is convenient, it can be crowded, though taxis are affordable.Overall, I would rate this stay 5/10 as it requires serious...
Read moreThe hotel is located in a not so desirable location but the price reflects that and I knew that going in, only thing I had wished is that they include the information about an entrance is available on both sides of the hotel so I didn’t have to walk a big loop around the hotel. The hotel itself is nice and I didn’t have any major issues with the staff except perhaps the housekeeping staff. Despite having the do not disturb light on, they still knocked on the door and attempted to enter the room on 2 different occasions. To me it was not too big of a deal because I simply just didn’t need the room cleaned but could become a bigger issue for others. Closest shopping needs to be done at least 2 mtr stops away but their shuttle to Kwai Fong MTR station is nice, runs every 30 mins. Room is spacious and still in excellent condition. Their elevators on the other hand is a headache. There are 4 guests elevators so 2 on each side, but the controls on the 2 sides aren’t linked so guests tend to press both sides and during rush hour, elevator would stop on many empty floors simply because elevators on the other side has already taken the guests. I lived on the 23 floor and one time it literally took me 5 mins to go from my room down...
