This station is too big, but no any direction in the checkpoint, in the Hong Kong MTR station I cannot exit the station to the transport station, that not convenient. This station is so many passengers and other people, specially in Friday to Sunday. So you may choose at the night to travel or use other checkpoint. And you may wait for a long time to pass the checkpoint.
Follow this to pass it:
Go down of the station by elevator, but not lift.
Then exit the station.
Go to the Hong Kong checkpoint to pass it, you may use e-channel, it will faster.
4.Pass the river bridge, don’t wait on the bridge, if you do this, you may have a catch.
Go to the China Shenzhen checkpoint and pass by China e-channel.
Go out of the gate area.
Go to the Bank , shop and waiting area, but don’t wait there, so many people there.
Go down the elevator. Caution: If you have a baggage use a lift because there have so many people there and they are get a baggage too but there have some stick so there are so slow to go down.
If you go to outside, you can walk around 20 minutes to other place or taxi. If you have to travel by Metro, you have to go out the door and get back to the checkpoint and do some safe-check and get the tickets. Caution: Those tickets machine have so many people to use, so you may go to the Information and ticket centre to buy it or use WeChat to pay for. If you have a car, I advice you don’t go out the car waiting area. Go to other plaza is more fast and convenient.
Enjoy.

Read moreLok Ma Chau Station is a busy checkpoint which connects Mainland China and the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong via its Futian-Lok Ma Chau link, with frequent crowds of people entering and leaving Hong Kong through this MTR connecting station. The complex seems spacious, to suit its border-crossing purpose, and its overall environment and cleanliness are decent and quite comfortable. The trains arrive to the station punctually, with friendly staffs and MTR workers, with the help of Chinese border guards, maintaining the well-being and facilitating the movement of all passengers here with high efficiency. Walking away from the platform, there is a full air-conditioned walkway within the complex which connects into Shenzhen via the Futian Station over the Shenzhen River with ease. The experience was okay for me as everything was in prissy order along the way, and I've very much enjoyed my time here crossing over to Shenzhen...

When the border is quiet, it can be very quick, but when it's busy it's common for the Chinese side to get completely backed up. This is a popular crossing point for the mainland Chinese to go to HK for shopping trips, so it's a good idea to avoid weekends and public holidays since it can get really crowded.
Adding to this is the fact that unlike Lo Wu there are no dedicated "visitor other then mainland visitor" or "foreigner" immigration channels here, so if it's busy there is no skipping the queues for foreign passport holders.
Both sides of the crossing have e-Channel gates, but they require separate registration - the HK side will accept the same e-Channel registration as at HKG airport, but that won't work for the...
