The sight of the crystal clear water and the golden sand, with not a soul in sight, hurried our steps downward. the dogs looked back once, looked back again and, when there was no command to "wait", went hurtling down and into the sea.
As I look in the magnificent scenery there was a small part of me thinking: "Hang on, you will have to climb back up these steps in two or three hours, in the midday sun."
That was for later. For now was throwing a Frisbee for one dog and a ball far out in the water for the other to swim and fetch. There is no store, no village, just the wonder of nature.
