Dengxiaoping Comrade Statue — Local services in Shenzhen

Visiting the Statue of Deng Xiaoping in Lianhuashan Park was a highlight of my Shenzhen trip! Perched at the top of a gentle hill, the iconic statue is a striking tribute to the leader who transformed Shenzhen into the vibrant city it is today. The climb up the steps is worth it-not just for the impressive bronze statue but for the breathtaking city views that stretch across the skyline.

The park itself is a green oasis, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the statue area is beautifully maintained with flower beds and open spaces. I snapped some amazing photos at sunset, with the golden light making the scene even more memorable. It’s a great spot to reflect on Shenzhen’s incredible growth while enjoying a serene atmosphere.

Easy to reach via metro (Children's Palace), and the park is family-friendly with kite-flying and picnic spots nearby.
