I did a private tour with Gabriel and it was amazing. We started with breakfast and bird watching. Then we went a hike to a waterfall. We went swimming and looked at the fish. The water was amazing. We then stoped at a local pool and Restuarant and had tea and homemade desserts. No white sugar they use Panela as a sweatner. Next we stopped at the Vanadurga Ashram yoga studio. This place was beyond amazing. The property is lush and beautiful with trails leading to the most amazing yoga studios. Next was lunch in San Rafeal and again amazing food! Now we go to a private waterfall that is of the beaten path. Last stop was to look back at San rafeal from a field on the way back to guatepe. He picked me up at 6 am and the day was supposed to end around 2 but we didn't back till 5. He took his time explains everything and even better we had in depth conversation about life and the world. It felt like we had been friends since childhood. San rafeal is an up and coming eco tourism spot. It's a great getaway from the city life. We walked over 5 miles up and down hills and mountains. I did not stay at the Escape Natural, but I was a guest on their tour to a waterfall. I got to say that Gabriel did a phenomenal job! He grew up in the area, so he knows every stone and every creek. He is so connected to the local nature and you can feel his love for this amazing land. We were crossing river, jumping off cliffs and swimming in beautiful pool with a grotto. I know that they also offer rafting and other kinds of adventures and would love to come back to try it one...

This place is NICE, if your looking for a natural escape this is the place. Everything is easy like as if you were home with family. All the staff is always available and super attentive. You definetly need to go tubing down the river with the Natural Escape team. They make it super fun and know exactly how to make sure you enjoy it to max.
