Unfortunately all though this place may have good reviews my experience here wasn’t so good I was immediately targeted when I came because I wasn’t from cololmbia now before I get my hair done anywhere I do research so I was pretty much aware of how much I would be spending on my style I also ask for a price a day before coming when I got there I was told another price then when I paid they tried to make me pay an every higher price picking my hair the young lady didn’t even let me pick the boho hair I wanted instead she used the same hair she braided with she brought me directly to there vip room which I was confused because I never asked to go there then said I had to be charged for it when I never asked to be in a vip I simple followed where she wanted me to go I didn’t even know they had a vip anything I felt after the back and forth about the amount which was so unprofessional and not a good look & that they clearly tried to get over the Energy and tension was off she rushed and on top of that I ended up braiding some of my hair because another young lady came in to help but her braiding wasn’t good it was lumpy so I took it down and redid it myself she didn’t cut any of the access hair so hair is just sticking out my braids I seen people from videos come in to get Knotless small braids for less then what I paid today this experience was a mess and I feel the owner needs to get this location staff in line because I hate to have to spend my money on something I dislike… my hair style doesn’t look full because she decided to use skinny pieces of the braiding hair to be my curly pieces if you are a foreigner just be careful they will...

I had a mostly great experience here. My braider was very nice and did an excellent job on my hair. I’ve come here a few times when traveling, and the quality of service is why I keep coming back.

My only issue was with the woman at the front desk in the hair store. The price of the human hair for boho braids had increased from $7 to $50, which I understand—prices go up. However, I just needed a second to decide since I wasn’t expecting it. Instead of giving me that moment, she was making comments in Spanish with an obvious attitude, rolling her eyes and basically implying that if I didn’t want to pay, I should just buy synthetic. That rubbed me the wrong way because I still went with it—I just needed a moment. I don’t want to deal with American hairstylist attitude in Colombia!!

Aside from that, everyone else was wonderful. The braider was super sweet, the facial was exceptional, and the woman who did it was really kind and even offered to help me order a driver to leave at night. The space is beautiful. This time I wasn’t offered coffee or water. Also I couldn’t get in contact with them on WhatsApp after messaging numerous times to get a price or know how much the hair was gonna cost.

So I specifically came to Cartagena to this specific shop to get my hair done! Upon entrance I was helped immediately, the young lady that helped me only spoke a little English however we brought out the translator and all was good from there. I had to buy the actual braiding hair which she accompanied me to which is across from the salon. The hair was about $12 USD for two packs and then I went to pay for my hair style which was about $48 USD for the style and length. I did bring my own curly hair for the boho (unfortunately I didn’t realize it wasn’t human) the young lady informed me before starting. I had the option to buy human from the store but she said it was okay (but next time I’ll just wait to buy all the hair in Cartagena). I did already have my hair washed and blow dried so I’m not sure if there would be an additional price for that. We started a bit after 9a and finished a little before 3p, she worked fast and did an AMAZING job, wish I would have gotten her name! So sweet! The entire staff is awesome and extremely friendly! If you don’t speak Spanish be sure to have a translation app on your phone. The entire establishment and process was absolutely amazing! I think next time I’ll do hair and nails!
