BRUMA BLANCA CHALETS — Local services in Guarne

Ideal location to begin your next nature excursion. These Chalet’s are located on the edge of a vibrant forest system, they function more as home-stays in that you are self reliant (bring it in, bring it out). There is a great panadería, a restaurant called Soul, and a market with everything you would need for a few days; ALL within walking distance.

The management of the Chalets was fantastic and you can see that the Chalets are located on an active farm. We were most impressed by the merging of nature and comfort. Never once did we feel as though we needed anything more than provided and any and all requests we had were answered promptly and respectfully.

It must be noted that this location is somewhat remote; for us that was ideal as we wanted a few days break from the city. Arriving there was easy, Burma Blanca have a car service that can bring you in from the city or the airport depending (contact them a day in advance for details).. we arrived from the city and and the trip takes about +-45 min up the mountain.

If you are interested in hiking (our motivation for selecting this accommodation) you will be thrilled with your choice. Within 5 min walking is the entrance to one of the most beautiful and vibrant ecosystems I have ever encountered. We spent hours photographing and observing the local flora and fauna and that was barely a mile into the trial. A true treasure for nature-lovers!

Es una falla dar esta calificación pero lo tengo que hacer… posiblemente tienen las cabañas más bonitas y más completas que hemos visitado pero no fue un lugar adecuado para descansar y alejarnos del ruido. Los vecinos de la cabaña de al lado pusieron música con alto volumen y cuando pedí ayuda con esto nos dijeron que estaba dentro del rango volumen adecuado y que estaba bien por la hora… pero también nos vimos afectados por una finca que no pertenece a Bruma, la cual hicieron mucho ruido por toda la madrugada. Una lástima porque es hermosa la cabaña y el lugar pero no...
