Kicking off our Costa Rica adventure at Feria del Agricultor was an exceptional choice! This vibrant farmers market offers an authentic taste of local life with a fantastic array of fresh food, particularly the fruit, which was absolutely delightful.

It has (cheap) parking lot, all stores have roof ( when the normal in CR it is they do not have). There is some particular variety you won't find, e.g. There is a Italian store, thus special cheeses and other goods are available. Also there are quite good bakers, and great restaurants. Most Stores are numbered thus you can reference them by number. There are spots for washing hands and at the entrance you'll get a temperature check and have to wash your hand. Arriving early was a great idea, as we were able to wander around easily and see what was available, then go back around and buy what we needed, plus a few extra things that we discovered that were new to us.
Everyone was very friendly, and incredibly patient as I attempted to ask questions in Spanish.
The option to rent a shopping trolley was fantastic. Usually farmers markets are a challenge for the arms, but not here!
