Restaurante Delicias Tablada — Restaurant in La Fortuna

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Danny at ‘ Restaurante Delicias Tablada ‘ is by far our favorite restaurant in all of La fortuna and surrounding areas. Not only does he provide the best service around, his food is truly incredible and pricing is very good! This is our second time traveling around Costa Rica and when we’re in La fortuna we exclusively go to Danny’s for all our meals. From his amazing pinto breakfast (the best we’ve had in Costa Rica - the cheese and sausage are unbelievable) to his chicken rice, beef salsa Casado, fresh ceviche, pina coladas, chicken sandwich and rice pudding, it is all chefs kiss amazing. Danny continues to go out of his way to make every customer feel like family. He is one of a kind business owners and we’re already looking forward to seeing him again someday:) 10000/10 don’t miss the opportunity to check this little restaurant out! What a wonderful spot just outside La Fortuna!! The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner during our stay at a rental just down the street. The food was fantastic -- definitely our favorite arroz con pollo during our visit to Costa Rica. Really lovely after a long day of hiking/waterfalls. The owner, Danny, was extremely kind and helpful. When we asked about fresh mango during our first breakfast visit, they didn't have any. But when we went back the next morning for coffee there were mangoes sitting on the counter! So thoughtful. Definitely recommend you try this place when you are staying in or near...

The food was delicious & the people working there were incredibly kind and generous. They happily switched between English & Spanish when taking orders (two of us speak a bit of Spanish and two of us don't). They also gave us a complimentary rice pudding at the end & free tap water with ice. Most of the meals are around $8-11 & the beers are $3.60. Same prices as the menus listed from 5 months ago. The main meals we ordered were good portions & came with some chips & salad too, which wasn't listed on the menu, so if you're unsure, it's worth asking what each meal comes with.
