THIS IS NOT A TOUR REVIEW. I WENT THERE ON MY OWN. THIS WAS FREE & IT IS ONLY A REVIEW OF THE C A V E. you can go solo. no need for excursion but you need to consider renting a motorcycle (not a car or a buggy because it’s hard to get around) the cave water was very very cold. a lot of mosquitoes. it gets crowded very quick. you form a line up to get inside of the water. water is very deep (25 feet to be precise.) very blue. a bit dangerous, very slippery. be careful with the younger kids. overheard a lot of people mentioning peeing in the water.. also to note: you could pay for a tour which goes for around 100$ US dollars. but all the destinations are actually free. you’re paying for transport AND rental of a buggy AND the guide AND maybe food. you visit the macao beach and the cave which are both open to the public. free of charge. FREE. vendors are a bit pushy although he understood after a simple handshake of ‘no’. they have funny market stand with a cardboard written Punta Cana ‘JC PENNY’, ‘WAL-MART’, ‘COSTCO’ and much more. they have a trash to prevent littering. have fun and stay safe.

It was part of the trip with buggy. They have cacao tasting and traditional dance. I really enjoy the landscape on the way to the cave. The water is really nice and refreshing when you are in the pool.

FUN! The buggies were everything. I just wish I had cash to give to some of the local kids as we were riding through their village. They gave us high fives and it was beautiful just being there.

The cave was NICE even though the water was a little on the chilly side. The food and shows were great too. They really put together a...
