Macao Cave in Punta Cana exceeded all my expectations and provided an adventure that will stay with me forever. From the moment I stepped into the cave, I was transported to a hidden realm of natural beauty and wonder.

The intricate formations of stalactites and stalagmites created an otherworldly landscape that was nothing short of breathtaking. The guided tour was not only informative but also engaging, as our guide shared captivating stories about the cave's history and geology.

What truly set Macao Cave apart was the opportunity to swim in its crystal-clear pools. The cool, refreshing water was a welcome respite from the tropical heat, and the experience of floating in the heart of this underground marvel was both exhilarating and serene.

The professionalism and knowledge of the guides made the entire experience safe and enjoyable. Their passion for the cave's preservation was evident, making the journey not only educational but also environmentally conscious.

Macao Cave isn't just a tourist attraction; it's a journey into the heart of nature's artistry. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Punta Cana, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Macao Cave and immersing yourself in its beauty and...

Is beautiful. The water is very deep. So do not go in if you can not swim. They do have life savers, if you trust those. They looked very worn out. Oh yes, cold too very very cold. You can visit this place on your own. BUT This is part of the hotels tours. You are there maybe 15 minutes. Most of the hotels tour go there. I stay at different hotels in punta cana and they all take you there on their buggy tours. Definitely a place to visit. But not for the entire day. You must go up down stairs for food and entertainment and rest room. you will have to be going up and down all day. A few colmados or bodegas where you can gran alcohol and and snack. Just be careful because if they see you as a "turista" they will jack up the prices. This a beautiful place for pictures if your are like me an dont want to get wet and get back on the buggy. Unfortunately, this cave is not...

To begin this place is not for the faint of heart, but still is an interesting place to visit. The reason for this being the beautiful rock structures and the cool looking rock pool. The thing about this pool is that you could actually jump in which is what I was saying is not for the faint of heart. I believe that it is almost 20-25 feet deep but if you can swim decently enough you could just dive down and float right back up for then some place for people to stand. This place is a cool cave to go into and I do recommend it on your Punta Cana trip, one small thing however is that this is something I would not center a trip around and when I went I was doing an buggy driving experience which was something that you could center a trip around. In conclusion a great place is totally worth going to...

That cave sounds like it provided a wonderful adventure, though perhaps it was a bit unsettling.

We went to Macao Cave by way of the Adventure Boogies excursion. This is most likely how 99% of people will see the cave. This location is one giant sales pitch, for all of the same things you can buy at the resort market but at a more expensive price. The area was nice, the small show with the dancers is not bad but isn't good either. The cave water is cold but it still feels good to get in and swim around a little. If you are with a large group and everyone gets into the water is, it will be crowded. The area leading to the cave is beautiful and we'll kept. Beware of the baby monkey, he seems terrified and scratches you if you try to touch him. Our stay was short as every twenty minutes or so, another group arrives so you must be gone before they arrive so they can park their buggies.
