🤬¿Por qué no recomiendo comprar electrodomésticos en Jumbo La Romana?😡

Mi esposa y yo compramos un electrodoméstico, lo facturamos y pagamos lo que supuestamente habíamos seleccionado. Sin embargo, al revisar la factura, notamos que habían facturado otro artículo que no correspondía a lo que habíamos elegido, y además era de menor valor.

🤬Hicimos la reclamación solicitando que corrigieran el error. Luego de eso, dejaron fuera otro electrodoméstico de la compra. Inició otro proceso, pero ahora nos dicen que ya no hay disponibilidad del producto que originalmente compramos y pagamos.

🤬Después informan que no se puede hacer el reembolso por tarjeta o crédito, sino mediante un cheque. Hacemos la solicitud del cheque y comenzamos a esperar. Posteriormente, pierden los documentos, y tuvimos que iniciar todo el proceso nuevamente.

🤬Tras semanas de espera, hoy nos dicen que el cheque no está listo, no lo encuentran, y que la supervisora llega a las 3:00 p.m. Me pregunto: ¿dónde está el asistente? ¿Por qué hay que esperar más de 3 horas para recibir un cheque que supuestamente ya está disponible? ¿Por qué una persona dice una cosa y otra dice lo contrario?

🤬Llamé personalmente en la mañana y la gerente me aseguró que el cheque estaba listo. Pero ahora no aparece el cheque, ni la gerente, ni nadie que pueda dar una solución. ¡Qué falta de responsabilidad y de comunicación!

🤬Recomendé a un amigo que comprara un electrodoméstico también en Jumbo, y fue otro desastre. Le llevaron un artículo incompleto y hasta el día de hoy no le han entregado la pieza faltante, a pesar de prometerlo.

JUMBO is a "good" supermarket as they go in the Dominican Republic. The two biggest problems for me are items being out of stock with no indication of when or if they will be back. And the wait. There are typically always long lines regardless of day or time. But that is the general state of customer support in every store I've been to in the entire country. Store is pretty clean. It also has WAY more to offer than the local La Sirena. Especially the produce. Much more variety at JUMBO! Also love the low price on the Lider...

Conveniently located right on Libertad Ave. This place has a food court as well as many of the banks operating on their second floor. There is also am area with ATMs from many of the local financial institutions. There is ample parking though always crowded and a bit of a mess.
