La Catedral de Espoo es una iglesia medieval de granito gris a orillas del río Espoo. Ha existido por más de 500 años. Las partes más antiguas de la iglesia datan de la década de 1480. El arquitecto era un "maestro de Espoo" desconocido. Junto con las iglesias de Hattula y Lohja, la iglesia de Espoo es un importante monumento de murales medievales. La iglesia es también el edificio individual más importante de Espoo desde el punto de vista tanto de la historia del edificio como del paisaje.

Durante la historia, la iglesia ha pasado por muchos cambios. Del edificio original, solo han quedado las estructuras este y oeste. Sus pinturas medievales ya se pueden admirar de nuevo. El nuevo órgano se inauguró en 2012. La iglesia tiene capacidad para 550 fieles y es la iglesia para bodas más popular de Espoo. Organ night & Aria Festival y sus conciertos se llevan a cabo en la Catedral de Espoo cada verano....

Tosi viehättävä keskiaikainen kivikirkko. Espoon seurakunta on perustettu omaksi seurakunnakseen jo 1458. Jo 1300-luvulla paikalla on sijainnut puinen kirkko. Keskiaikaisia maalauksia on yhä näkyvissä kirkon vanhoissa osissa. Saneerauksen yhteydessä rakennuksen alta löytyi luita, jotka on haudattu sittemmin kirkkomaalle. Poikani rippikirkko, jumalanpalvelukset ainakin suomeksi ja ruotsiksi joka sunnuntai. Kirkko on avoinna päivittäin 10-18, mutta toimii kesäisin myös ohikulkijoita palvelevana tiekirkkona (henkilökuntaa paikalla opastamassa) klo 16.30 asti Ympäröivä alue on hautausmaan lisäksi lähes pelkkää kaunista puistoa, rajoittuen...
