Not mindblowing but really nice. Beautiful location in the old town of Kokkola. Old house elements keept nicely, the interior is OK, yet it seems a bit half done. Differen chairs and benches, spread around the house so the restaurant is cozely divided. Helpful staff. Quick attention. Meat is much better than averidge, yet expensive like everywhere in Finland. Had starters and mains and all tasted very good yet the plates seemed a bit boring. Definitely I would take my party here to eat if in Kokkola.

Overall quality was good, let's say better average, but sadly nothing popped out of the ordinary. Some problems with amounts of salt but main ingredients were well made. We had seven different plates so i think i got an idea of the menu. Wine was adequate, we had rosé and a full bodied red. Ok for the price and a nice place indeed!

   Read moreThe staff were extremely helpful, and friendly from the start, and the food recommended was extremely tasty (they actually listened to our tastes and preferences, instead of navigating us towards expensive/money-generating dishes). The food was fresh, and tasty, and presented in a way that made the dining experience refined, without being uptight.
