Lovely, typical French Sunday market within walking distance of hotel. We entered around 9am near the Metro station where several bric-a-brac stalls/vendors were set up and it was already very busy and it is easy to follow the crowd towards the main area with stalls along the way selling a variety of socks, food and shoes. The main market is in the main square and is very large and mainly consists of clothes/shoes and fruit and veg stalls. There are a few antique/bric-a-brac stalls around the side and rear of the church in the main square however and the Indoor market appears to be mainly food retailers. Not so much in the way of leather goods as there used to be 20 years ago (my second visit was then). Also there seems to only be one ATM / cash point on a sunday which means queuing for ages if you want fast food as not all the vendors will accept card around the outer bit. But then it is supposed to be a market 🙂 the inside stalls do tend to take card (carte) but do not assume you can flash the plastic. It can get VERY busy on a sunday and do watch your wallet/purse. It is very easy to find from the Metro stop just head towards the church across the play area .. you will...
