Sehr informativ das Stadtmuseum, unter anderem wird die These des slawischen Namensursprungs 'Suainicondorf' suhai (Bursche) und nica (Bergheim, -dorf) thematisiert. Man erfährt sehr viel über die Stadtgeschichte sowie die Fauna und Flora der Gegend. Es ist sehr schön renoviert und äußerst gepflegt. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, vor allem wenn der Eintritt (gegenwärtig) frei ist!

Das Schwandorfer Stadtmuseum bietet interessante Einblicke in verschiedenen Abteilungen. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die in unregelmäßigen Abständen stattfindenden Sonderausstellungen. Die noch bis 17.2.2019 präsentierte Ausstellung "Das Schwandorfer Marionettentheater - über 40 Jahre auf der Bühne" ist ein hervorragendes Beispiel dafür.

Find dieses Museum sehr schön , Besonders die Sonderausstellungen sind immer sehr schön.Wurde extra für ältere und Behinderte Leute umgebaut das sie fast alles vom Museum sehen können.Sehr interessante Exponate aus Schwandorf und Umgebung zu finden . Für mich als Schwandorfer ist das Modell vom Bayernwerk sehr interessant , da wir viel Zeit von unserer Kindheit und Jugend dort verbracht haben.

Die Angestellten sind auch super...
