Eiscafé am Rhein — Local services in Wiesbaden

Great little ice cream shop and cafe in Biebrich. Just across the street from the Rhein, they serve a great selection of ice cream treats, coffee, and sandwiches. Also, it's only about a block from Schloss Biebrich, and the park there is a great walk or picnic spot. The staff are helpful and kind, we just got here and our German is still pretty rough, having patient and nice help is such a comfort. We have been twice on Saturday afternoons, and there is always a line. They move through it fairly quickly and the ice cream is definitely worth the wait. They do have tables both inside and outside, but we wanted to walk the Rhein or Schloss park both times. We have not eaten there and did not see anyone else eating anything besides ice cream, although they do have a food menu. We'll try them for this in the future. The atmosphere on the river walk is nice, families out having a day out and people walking their dogs and such. It is a nice break from downtown Wiesbaden. They do take Credit cards, including American cards and the tag on the door indicated even American Express, which is somewhat unusual and nice to see. I did not think to try mine, but they took my Mastercard without missing a beat. The ice cream runs about 5-10...

This is one of the greatest ice cream parlor in the whole world!! I absolutely love it there! Ice Cream, Waffles and even the Milkshakes are awesome. I don't know how long you gotta wait outside, but when you are 2 people and you wanna eat inside then you can find easily a table for 2😁. I kinda feel bad for the workers though, even if they are really polite, a lot of people are coming there and they are tbh not the fastest 😅. Bin geschockt!!! Gehe eig seit Jahren gerne die Eisdiele besuchen. Das personal ist mal so mal so. Nicht besonders freundlich (da sind die am Marktplatz 10x freundlicher) aber auch nicht unhöflich - will ja nur mein Eis & dann gehen.

Naja wir haben uns eben 2 kugeln eis gegönnt. Habs genüsslich gegessen, war auch gut soweit. BİS ich bei der Erdbeer Kugel etwas längliches im Mund hatte, dacht erst es kommt von der Frucht vlt iwie der Stiel oder so. ES WAR EIN ABGEBISSENER FINGERNAGEL. Es tut mir leid aber sowas geht ganz und garnicht! Ich wünschte ich könnte ein Foto hinzufügen, habe natürlich mit dem würge reflex den nagel irgendwo weggeschmissen. Es war aber eine ganze Nagelspitze abgeknabbert. Ich kann Ja mal Ein Haar verstehen, oder keine Ahnung vlt mal ein Stück plastik oder so. Ein Nagel ist wirklich zuviel! Anstatt mit 5 Personalen hinter der Theke zu stehen & leer um die gegend zu schauen sollte man eventuell auf seine Hygiene Maßnahmen acht geben - Handschuhe wären beispielsweise eine Option :) Nunja ich schätze der Nagel kommt net vom Servieren sondern wunder vorher iwie reingeschnipst oder kp wie das ding es dort hin schafft. Mein Nachmittag wurde mir verdorben, & ob ich echt noch mit ruhigem gewissen bei euch Eis einkaufe, hmm steht in den Sternen geschrieben. Ich wäre gerne Vor Ort direkt zu euch gekommen leider habt ihr schon zu. Sowas ist...
