Korle Gonno Beach Resort — Local services in Accra

The korle beach resort, I visited the beach on de 25th of December 2023, and I couldn't go back home because it was late for me to return home so I decided to rent a room for the night, in fact I was seriously surprised what went on at the korle gonno beach resort, water was not flowing and the lighting system in the room wasn't okay, too bad, so I decided to prompt the receptionist about the problem I've encountered in the room. The receptionist told me he's gonna get the problem solve immediately so I thought he was going to get me some water 💦 to shower, and guess what, he brought me water in a yellow gallon and a bucket and a pale, something just strikes my mind to taste the water, son of man the water tasted salty, the receptionist actually went to fetch me the sea 🌊 to Bath, what a wow.....I can't believe this...well that's it for me, my bad experience I had, wellies Bright Tretsu Kelly once again, your...

What can I say about this place.

Used to be one of the low-key beaches where you would go to have some privacy or peace of mind but I guess things have changed because of some unscrupulous human beings.

The beach used to be free but now has these guys at the entrance requesting for a fee before entry. Have no problem with money being taken before entry but what exactly is the money used for?

The state of the beach is deplorable. The washroom and toilet is a mess giving out a bad stink and the seats are worn out. Some even have fungus growing on the seats.

The paints on the walls are peeling off since they’re old.

The drinks are affordable for the price is being sold at but the khebab seller sells very tiny meats and sausages.

Whoever owns the beach needs to get back to proper management and a good renovation is needed at the beach.

Easily accessible but very crowded. You can find three different pubs or joints directly close to eachother so imagine when all three are playing music at the same time using boosters... there are also there playing which should be interesting but what was suppose to be a breezy calm, cool and quiet outing could turn into one having a headache... On a whole, beaches are just the nicest...
