updateI visited this place again and nothing was the same like my first visit hence I'm updating the review. They don't che k if you are vaccinated or not, also no soap distancing practices in place. The female server was beyond rude I asked for lemon and she through the lemons to the food, bad bad service and zero hygiene. I asked for the check more than 4 times and on top of that I was over charged. See the prices in the picture. Usually I visit places to give them a second chance when the first time is bad but in this place I'm so disgusted from the service I'm not going back. **First reviewGreat taste like you are eating in a Greek village. Absolutely amazing spot! Authentic Greek food by wonderful people. The family that own this restaurant is so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is just very cosy and welcoming! We went one lunch time and then went back later that night (after it had closed but we hadn’t checked) the family were still there and even gave us a shot of Raki because they were closed and having a family night! So thoughtful. We went back on our last day and the same again, another shot of Raki for our travels.

The food is absolutely incredible. Juicy, full of flavour and so fresh! Would 1000% recommend this place to anybody...

Walked past this place a few times as I was staying in the area. Looked exclusively local and a little rough & ready if I'm honest. Went in a couple of days later and did not regret it.

Amazing food, brilliant service. It's a fun atmosphere, everyone laughing, it's a locals' place but somewhere a foreigner can turn up and not feel out of place.

I've been back every time I've come to Athens, even though I generally stay elsewhere. I come back because of fond memories of my first few times, but also because I know I'll always make new memories.
