The music programme of the Hall is reasonably good under the present difficult circumstances, the venue is excellent and well located, the tickets are not excessively expensive although their price has not followed closely the drop of the incomes that the country experiences. Yet, certain organizational and management practices continue to surprise. Please allow an example: Until recently, rather than being able to book directly the seat of one’s choice through the internet as was done all over Europe for decades, somebody had to make introductory phone calls, find a fax machine, send a message to the Hall expressing his booking intention, wait till the following days to get a return call from the Megaron’s clerical staff and hopefully be offered seats that suited the clerk.
