I loved having lunch in this neighborhood fish store and restaurant. At the entrance of the store there is a display of the fish that is caught daily. You can purchase it to cook it at home or you can choose your fish to eat at the restaurant which is next door. Note that the restaurant and fish store are connected. We chose to order 20 sardines. Ofcourse we over ordered because we could not finish it all for two people. We also ordered the Greek horiatiki salad (peasant salad) consisting of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions and feta cheese with olive oil. My friend Rose who lives in Glyfada introduced me to this amazing place and I try to eat there at least once on each visit to Greece. The food is amazing. Last night I had the perfectly prepared octopus wth makoronaki, it was divine, the octopus melted in my mouth and I savored every bite. Absolutely wonderful.
