Beautiful beach with crystal clear water, that gets deeper in just a few meters. Sand and small rocks along the coast, swimming shoes not mandatory. Sunbeds available (set price 15€), but better come early to get a spot. Okay place for snorkeling on the sides of the beach, but not too much to see. My favorite beach in Karpathos. It is secluded enough to be peaceful but you’re not going to have to pray in order to drive there. There are two tavernas right on the beach. It is a pebbled beach, but the size of the pebble is on the small side which makes it easier to walk even barefoot. Sunbeds are 20 euros for the day (June 2024). The sun goes down around 5.30 pm. I didn’t like this beach that much. It is pebbled, winds are not that strong but it can be windy. Water is super cold but on the beach it gets super warm because pebbles are on direct sun. It is hard to walk if you don’t have slippers or swimming shoes. So you are cooking at the sun, and then have to go inside freezing water. Awful feeling.
