This is a very nice beach located about 45 mins drive south of Rhodes Town, on the west side of the island. There are several beaches closer to Rhodes on this side of the island, Ialyssos, Kremnasti, Theologous etc but Kamiros has a much nicer outlook and it has sand so it is worth the extra few miles to reach here imo.
It is quiet. There are a few people about but compared with the tourist beaches on the east side of the island, it is much more relaxed.
Sunbeds at the Antico are €20 for two, which is about the going rate. I read somewhere that it was €10 for two, but maybe that is old news or out of season? There is plenty of sand and space to sit if you dont fancy a bed.
The water is clear and clean, with a gentle swell to make it a bit more interesting and atmospheric...if i close my eyes, i could be anywhere, and it turns out, i am.
