Eftalou Hot Springs — Local services in Municipality of Western Lesvos

After a walk of 5 hours, I came in at a late afternoon and carelessly plunged into that hot water. A unique place. That is very safe and people complaining, I guess should be complain about everything particular in nature. A lady comes to clean this natural pool, and it takes more than three hours. She also does her work of removing the big pebbles that block the access of the hot water coming from the sea. Imagine doing this for 2 hours, for free, with your hands in hot boiling water! It is a great experience worth taking! I'm glad the Municipality doesn't take care of this otherwise it would have been a mess! When educated people are in charge, they need no-one to...

The water is great. From hot to cold, and you like it! But to go from the inside hot water outside to the cold, it's very bad. Full of rocks and not a clear path until you go at least 5 meters into the water. Not friendly and very dangerous for the elderly ones and everyone! You have to be extra careful if you don't want to fall down and bruise or break something.

The place has NO owners but is open for everyone. You can still enjoy the hot water and swim in the ocean but do not expect cleanliness, sanitation or a running business.

If you walk past the house, through the complex and along the rocks and sea you will get to another beach with a Tavern. Great place if you want some...
