What an incredible experience today!! My girlfriend and I chose an evening beach ride and it was everything you’d imagine and so much more. The mountains are majestic, the traditional Greek farms are charming, and the beaches are worthy of a Monet painting.

We were beginners, with this being my girlfriend’s first time riding, and Padelis and his team were very accommodating and attentive to her needs. They made sure she was safe and comfortable throughout the ride. We were also closely acquainted with the horses before our excursion, even brushing them and getting a feel for the horses, which puts you at ease in case you have any reservations about riding.

Hermes and Hermoine(brother and sister) are beautiful Greek Cob’s and each have their own funny personalities. Hermoine was quite the eater, in fact. And Hermes was a perfect gentleman. It is apparent that these horses are happy and well taken care of on the farm. The passion really shows. I would highly recommend this stable to all skill levels and abilities if you’re considering a pleasant ride through Sami. We will definitely be returning next time we visit Kefalonia.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the team, who are clearly passionate about their horses and what they do. The horses are exceptionally well cared for, gentle, and perfectly matched to each rider’s experience level—whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced rider.

The ride itself was absolutely magical. We explored stunning trails through olive groves, peaceful countryside, and even got to see breathtaking views of the sea. The scenery was straight out of a postcard, and riding through it on horseback made it feel all the more surreal.

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. She shared fascinating stories about the area and gave us great tips on other things to see and do on the island.

This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. You don’t just go for a ride—you connect with nature, with the horses, and with the authentic beauty of Kefalonia.

Me, my husband and a friend had a smashing few hours with Padelis and his horses yesterday morning. We spent some time first getting to know ‘our’ horses before heading out for a trek through the local cypress trees and down to the beach at Sami.

I was riding Hector, an absolute joy, so calm and really responsive, helped by Padelis sharing his knowledge of the horse and how to get the best out of him. I hadn’t ridden for about 20 years and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to get ‘back in the saddle’.

The other two were complete beginners, riding Hermione and Hermes, each on a lead rein. They both felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed their ride.

The horses were clearly well loved and well looked after, Padelis’ passion for them very obvious. We were joined on our ride by Mel, who was working at the stables for a few months, and it was lovely to hear her saying how much she was learning and enjoying her experience.
