Watched dune here. The anticipation was palpable as I settled into my seat in Screen 3, ready to be transported to another world. However, my experience turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag.
The Good:
Picture Quality: The screen resolution was crisp, and the visuals popped. It’s evident that they invest in top-notch projection technology.
The Not-So-Good:
Sound Leakage: Alas, my enthusiasm waned when I realized that the sound from neighboring screens seeped into our auditorium. During intense moments in our film, I could faintly hear explosions and dialogue from the adjacent movie. It was distracting and took away from the immersive experience.
Crowded Lobby: The lobby was bustling, which made it challenging to navigate. Perhaps better crowd management during peak hours would
While Cinepolis has its merits, the sound leakage issue in Screen 3 left me a tad disappointed. As James Cameron wisely said, “Going to a movie theater is less about the size of the screen and the perfection of the sound system, and more about a decision to not multitask. You’re making a deal between yourself and a piece of art to give it your full attention”. Unfortunately, the sound bleed disrupted that delicate pact.
If you’re a stickler for pristine audio, consider timing your visit to avoid crowded screenings or explore other theaters that prioritize acoustics. As for me, I’ll be back, hoping for a quieter cinematic...
Read moreHi, This is to my surprise that I had a very bad experience in Cinepolis. I booked a ticket for the morning 10:00 am show on Mar 28, 2024 in Cinepolis Orion Avenue in Bangalore to watch Manjumel boys Malayalam movie. The movie was tilted on the screen. The video quality was very dull wherein some scenes where the dark portions were shown were almost 90% invisible. The sound quality was also poor. The dialogue levels were low than normal wherein it was not giving a feel like watching in a theatre. I watched the same movie 10 days before in Tamilnadu in a local theatre and I had a great experience with the visual and sound quality. The video was not tilted and it was with great quality and the sound quality was also good. But in Cinepolis it was pathetic. You sell popcorn and tickets for high cost when compared to normal theatres and screen the movies with a very poor quality. This is like cheating the public. Have some conscience while you do business. I complained about this to your staff and they didn't have an answer. I am a media person and I do commercials. So I know what I am complaining about. It is a wonderful movie and the filmmakers have put all their effort into delivering a beautiful output. Your theatre quality has wasted all their efforts. Be loyal to the business...
