Complicated Fractures The skeletal system provides a supportive framework for the body. It is the hardest of all living tissue and provides mineral storage, protection of many internal organs from injury e.g. the brain by the skull, and storage of blood producing cells. Bones are connected at joints and make movement possible as well as providing sites of attachment for muscles. The skeleton consists of 206 bones classified into four general groups of shapes: long, short, irregular and flat.
A fracture is a break in the continuity of any bone. Fractures are classified (named) usually after the mechanism of injury, that is, the way the bone has been broken or the appearance of the bone after the fracture.
Complications
Several complications can result for a fracture. Deformity, or misshapenness, can present as limb shortening, curvature (abnormal bending) of the limb, and limb rotation (twisting). Lumps associated with the fracture are usually due to muscle damage rather than the fracture. There may be abnormal movement of the limb i.e. the ability to move a limb at a site other than a joint may indicate a fracture or dislocation. Loss of use (function) can occur from damage to the nerves and blood supply surrounding the fracture. Bone ends can rub together or grate against one another and the noise (crepitus) creates a similar sound to the rubbing of hair between fingers. It is an extremely painful sensation for the patient.

Read moreI do Remember we were new to Jaipur city, and got pregnant. My husband's colleague recommended Dr Suman Asopa. And we started our journey of pregnancy with her. The best part of Dr. Suman Mam, she gave us motherly treatment throughout the journey of pregnancy and delivery. She listened us patiently everytime and recommended only those medicines and tests which are necessary and thus she never gave impression of greedy doctor. She also postively replied to our calls and WhatsApp msgs when we can't visit her personally, even for blood or USG reports I shared on WhatsApp and basis of that she advised medicine online and that's without consultation fees. So in 13 December 2021 we became parents for the 1st time and recently on 10 Feb 2024 we became 2nd time parents under Suman Mam observation. Thus Dr Suman Mam is a kind of Doctor who is empathetic and compassionate by nature, has professional expertise, has strong ethical standards, active listener, able to make strong relationships with the patient, has commitment to patient safety and an honest doctor.🙏
Therefore I heartily recommend Dr Suman Mam if you are looking a Motherly Doctor, as every pregnant woman wants a doctor who can treat her like her own daughter. Thank you Mam for making our both pregnancy journey smooth and happy, and delivering them safely; we will always be grateful to you.
Happy Parents Barun Singh and Renu Singh of Lakshya Singh and Pratakshya...
Read moreAsopa hospital has irresponsible night shift nursing staff which needs to be taken care of. We went to hospital for dressing, where we met receptionist SAURABH CHOUDHARY who helped us and asked sister SHIVANI who was at night duty on 16th June 2025 to do the dressing but she denied to do so and asked to wait even after knowing that it was an emergency situation. My sister had stitches but there was an emergency for dressing so we went to the hospital at 11:45 pm. We asked Sister SHIVANI for her last name but she denied so we called the reception later to ask her last name but when we said that you would not want your name to be dragged so her confirmed her last name as YADAV which we are not sure of. Last week we went to Asopa to get the stitches opened so the evening nursing staff opened the stitches in such a way that the stitches got open which was confirmed by our doctor. How can we believe in such hospital staff for our treatments. I would have not mentioned anything regarding the previous experience if the night nursing staff Sister SHIVANI would have done the dressing but they forced me to post this review. Hope to the hospitals takes care of their staff and make them understand their...
