I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience with Klay Daycare at the BGRT Kadugodi branch. From the moment I first visited, I knew this was the perfect place for my child. The team at Klay is incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. They have created a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive.

I would like to give a special mention to Shruti Sood, the Center Director, for her outstanding leadership and dedication to ensuring that every child at Klay receives the best possible care and education. Her passion for early childhood development is evident in everything she does, and she has created a culture of excellence that permeates throughout the entire team.

My child has been attending Klay for almost 6 months now, and the progress he has made is remarkable. The curriculum is excellent, with a perfect balance of academics, extracurricular activities, and playtime. The teachers are highly skilled and dedicated to their craft, and it shows in the way they interact with the children.

The facilities at Klay are top-notch, with spacious classrooms, clean and hygienic restrooms, and a beautiful outdoor play area. The safety and security of the children are given utmost priority, and the staff ensures that all safety protocols are followed rigorously.

The center used to be good before pandemic probably. The facilities are good even now but they are very inconsistent so far. It was told that it would open on 1st April but they kept postponing it every 2 weeks.

Coming to the important part: Now when it has opened, the center head seems to be an inexperienced and not so well qualified person. She keeps forgetting what was discussed already every time we speak and does not seem to be knowledgeable about their corporate tie up terms, payments etc. Also there is no documentation of any discussion. I am unsure how one can trust the other staff if the center head is itself making communications so difficult. We had a smooth enrollment experience with another playschool that has corporate tie up previously for our elder daughter before the pandemic. Klay, especially this center, has zero flexibility when it comes to requests from parents and they are trying to block the fees for 4 months when there is so much uncertainty with respect to Covid and lock downs which clearly shows their money making mindset.

Also, the center head was giving me dietary advice for my daughters. Not sure if she is a qualified dietitian. Our request to give milk twice to our 3 year old during the full daycare program from 9-6 was also declined saying they do not have that provision!

Update: Spoke to Rakesh who is the point of escalation but in vain. Although both my husband’s and my companies have corporate tie ups with KLAY with complete reimbursement for one of us, we decided not to take admission here due to the poor experience with the admission...

Since my children started going to daycare, I’ve finally been able to find some peaceful time for myself. And that’s only possible because I feel completely satisfied and reassured knowing that my children are safe, happy, and well cared for with you.

I still remember the initial settling phase and how beautifully you all handled it. I would especially like to thank Teacher Reshma, who continues to care for them with such affection—whether they are in her class or not.

Your warmth, attention, and the genuine love you show toward the children give me so much peace of mind. It’s rare and special to feel so confident leaving your children in someone else’s care and that’s exactly the trust you’ve earned from me.

As I told Chitra, “If someone asks me after you and your husband, who do you trust the most with your children? I would say, without hesitation, ‘It’s only KLAY.’”
