Meruti Hills is a peaceful and lesser-known trekking spot, perfect for nature lovers and those looking to escape the crowds. The trail offers beautiful views, lush greenery, and a calm atmosphere all around. It’s not too difficult, making it ideal for beginners as well. Need to take entry tickets online, and you can drive up to a certain point before starting the trek. However, there are no washroom facilities, so plan accordingly. Sunset views from the top are amazing, and you can see the surrounding hills stretch far into the distance. If you enjoy quiet treks with stunning views, Meruti Hills is worth a visit.

Superb place worth visiting.... If anyone is planning for trekking here, start ur journey at around 7-8 in the morning soo that it won't be too much sunny when u finish the trek.... In rainy season there will be leeches on the way in the initial part of the journey bt later there won't be disturbance of leeches...... And don't throw plastic on the merthi hill.... As there are lot of plastic wastes like chocolate cover, chips cover water bottle etc can be seen which are thrown by the previous visitors

Had a great experience trekking Meruthi Hills. The trail takes around 1.5 hours one way, and the views from the top are absolutely stunning The route passes through dense forest patches, so leeches are very common, especially during and after the monsoon. Make sure to carry Dettol. A guide is mandatory for this trek – it’s enforced locally. Would highly recommend this trek for nature lovers looking for a peaceful, offbeat spot.

It has been a wonderful experience for the journey towards Meruti hill. Initially we have to travel in the Badnekan estate from Basrikatte. May be It's a 4 to 6 km journey within the coffee estate, it's a spectacular scenery. After that, We have to stop our vehicle in their office, then the trekking begins! Around 15 minutes we have to walk in the estate to reach the mid portion of the hill, then the mind-blowing journey begins :) After climbing one hill you can see the beautiful tea estate and the clouds kissing the top of hill. Wait the journey is not yet over, still you have to climb 3 more hills !!! Yes it's a hard journey you will be tired and your leg starts paining and you feel like it's enough but it's really fascinating to reach the tip. Please carry some eatables, definitely you feel hungry. There is a Ganesha idol at the tip. You can see the lush green surrounding and you feel like you are on the top of Himalayas. It's really a worth a visit to this place. Recommended season: After August or September because you can enjoy...
