Hello Google users,I am posting this for Axis bank as a Bank and not a particular branch.Posting under this branch as visited yesterday for Closure of my Axis Bank Credit Card EMI's.In last year due to some medical emerncy with me I have been used this Bank Credit card to full of its limit and converted the same amount into EMI according to situation at that particular point of time. Axis Bank has given me two credit cards considering my financial ability. One is Axis Bank LIC card and Other is My Zone card with same limit on Each card. As explained above have used full limits and converted the expended amount into EMI and regularly paying the out standing and using the card again in next month. One fine morning have got message from Axis Bank that the limit of both cards have been merged and my cards were blocked. This was really a serious concern for me as can't use the card and need to pay the amount which has gone into negative balance state. So paying regularly those EMI. Mean while in recent days I have take some personal finances to close on these EMI and GST ( this is complete unnecessary charges which bank is taking from customer on interest part of it. Hon Finance ministery should take note of this and have a review in ths policies of charging such GST on loans EMI interest as Loan itself is already a burden on some bodies head and on top of that this GST is over burden.) I have connected to Axis bank Phone Banking officer and that lady attending my call has no knowledge about settling these dues and she have said me I need to pay amount more than 2 lacs inspite of my outstanding is close to 1.5 lacs. Then she asked me to wait on call and to connect to her senior. Call hold up for next 10 more minutes and then got disconnected and then for next 2 days no response from Axis Bank on this. So thought to visit this branch. After visiting somehow manage to meet officer and he has directed me to fisrt floor in Credit Card Department where in only single fellow is avaibale and he told me that closure of EMI is not possible from Branch it is only possible on ohone banking. He helped me for some different help line number. I thanked him for that. Since the call might be longer so I thought of calling in evening time when I may at home. In evening I got again connected to call, the fellow attending me has listned me for 15 minutes and some how managed to answer my query and told me that the pre closure charges will be applicable at the rate 3% or Rs.300 which ever is more. Meaning that if you have single EMI balance of let us say Rs.1000 then 3% will Rs.30 but they will be charging us Rs.300 over Rs.1000 which is almost 30%.I have asked that fellow to close one EMI amounting to around Rs.14 K and including all charges the payble amount was close to Rs.15 K for which i was also agreed.I have asked him to proceed with closure after 5 minutes he told me that he is unable to do that and I need to wait till time he connects to his senior.I have again a wait 5 more minutes and got connected with his senior. He also repeat the same figure for which I was Ok and asked him to proceed. The call got disconnected ( dont know the reason ) again call received from help line which was showing as a potential fraud call. I have asked the reason of this potential fraud call to the office he was not able to answer my question and call again got disconnected. I was wondering that i am fortunate by Gods grace that I havent close the EMI and not paid the amount as it might be gone to such frauders call ( as might have seen in Net Flix series "Jamtara".) Over all money lending from credit cards is really a trouble some for a salaried person. But kya kare bechara,as he needs to pay heavy income tax to government on the income which he is earning by his own hard work & doesnt have sufficient funds in case of emergency so no option left for him other than to use creditcard. My sincere request to Hon. Governer of Reserve Bank of India to make compulsary to each bank to have a pre closure of EMI unit to have hassle free...
Read moreI was happy with axis bank and its services until the time I faced an issue with Chinchwad bank branch. Initially they showed on the app that lockers are available and assigned one locker for me also the money got deducted which was 7000 rs yearly. When I received an email that says to be present at the branch with necessary documents I was happy. I visited the bank thinking everything is fine, but then the branch people told the lockers are not available and we assigned the locker to you because we have a fault in our system. I was totally pissed because they have taken the money from me without informing me that the assignment was a false move. After that, till today, ( it is been a year) I have requested 100000 times to the branch manager of chinchwad branch and the employee who is responsible for this. Also my family members visited the branch multiple times for this case. Still no money reimbursed. This was totally disappointing/ irritating and lazy behavior of all the axis branch people. Not taking the customers seriously, disrespecting their time and energy is a serious problem. As they say it right “private walon ko kuch nahi ata, pata nahi office mein baithe baithe kya...
Read moreMy overall experience with Axis Bank has been very disappointing. The staff’s behavior is unprofessional and discouraging. Instead of motivating employees, they try to demotivate them. I was even asked, “How many days will you survive here?” and questioned, “Why did you leave your previous job to join the bank?” Such remarks are extremely unprofessional and demoralizing. The manager also commented that I would need to be taught “A, B, C, D,” which was very disrespectful.
Additionally, Axis Bank requires customers to maintain a monthly balance of ₹25,000, which is highly inconvenient compared to other banks.
On the other hand, Canara Bank provides a much better experience. The staff there is supportive, respectful, and motivating, which makes a huge difference.
Overall, Axis Bank needs serious improvement in both staff behavior and banking policies. Based on my experience, I would recommend Canara Bank...
