Over the years, the quality is deteriorating. Be it Bengali sweets or the snacks. In last one year I bought singara (samosa in hindi) 4/5 times. It is no longer the Bengali variety. It's not fresh, alu sabzi stuffing is very low quality. By no means it can be said bangali singara. Sweets are becoming ordinary in taste, nothing special. Though they have good sale (it's the only bengali sweetmeat shop in a radius of 10 km, so has lot of footfall. But the all Delhiites may not know the authentic taste of bong mithai, so they are able to manage). My association with the shop is many years old. I want them to become a substitute for C R Park shops. I want them to succeed. But at present things are not good. BTW if you want biscuits, namkeens, masalas that you get only in Bengal, this place will make you happy. You will get everything (food items) you may need...
