May lie to achieve sales.
Adarsh is otherwise a good place for street food. You can enjoy chat and other fast foods like samosa, khamang etc. at same price that of the street side vendors but in much better quality. But what I didn't like about them they to sell their stuff they lied to us. After stuffing ourselves with chats and fast food I saw they also had Undhia. When I liked other things I thought of trying the undhia, but since we were not hungry we asked them if we could eat it later. The guy over the counter to sell their last remaining portion told us it could be eaten even next day if refrigerated. We got it packed and kept it in fridge. But when we opened it in night as the kids were hungry, it had spoiled. Next day I complained to the owner he dismissed my claim in a much vociferous way which I didn't expect. I told him I don't want any refund and then he kept quite. This behaviour wasn't expected. The guy who had sold it to me wasn't around and the owner wasn't willing to listen. After that we didn't go to Adarsh. Personally I don't like people lying to sell things, but that's the society we live in. Fortunately things are changing with professionals in business but old traditional outlets still need to learn the new way of doing...
Read morePathetic customer service. I wanted to give negative review but that option is not available yet. Purchased 2 samosa's today and told them to give them to give extra chutney. Asking them for extra chutney is like asking them for their property papers. How can an extra chutney be so much to ask for? They bluntly denied saying aise nahi hota hai.. Itne chutney mai ho jayega.. And I was like I have to have it and I want more one shahet of chutney but then they are like ho jayega itne mai. And this is definitely not the first time. I have been so disappointed with their nature. At the end they agreed to give but why this chaos for one extra packet of chutney? Please don't buy from here because even after giving money you have to give your mental health too. What's...
Read moreWe always buy from Adarsh Sweets as we like all the things from there as they all are delicious. But the rates are very high, can be a little reasonable. But today's experience was not so good. We purchased sev and that was packed in newspaper, not in proper plastic bag. By the time we reached home the newspaper had soaked all the oil from the sev and had become completely oily. One more thing we paid for white dokla on the counter, on the bill also it was written white dokla, after reaching home when we opened the packet there was khaman dhokla in it. Please educate the people at the counter who pack the things to check the bill and pack proper things that the customer wants. Because after reaching home if you find something else in the packet it is very...
