Ravindra is around 40+ years old restaurant (even before I was born) and is a part of the Veg treat group of Hotels.
Since it was too long since we had get together with friends, we thought of meeting and having our meal at Ravindra.
Starters ::
So we started with Masala Papad as we were too hungry and were not in a mood to ask for any other starter.
In Main Course::
Sabzi ::
We'd three sabzi's, 1. Kaju Curry (Non Spicy) 2. Paneer Kolhapuri (Spicy) and 3. Veg Handi (Medium Spicy). The sabzi's were good in terms of quantity, quality and taste, except Kaju Curry, which was a bit salty in terms of taste, which when highlighted, the restaurant changed it instantly without any questions.
Bread :: In Breads, we'd ordered Butter Roti, Kulcha and Naan. There's nothing to mention in Breads as it was as expected.
Rice ::
In Rice, we'd ordered Tawa Pulav (Medium Spicy). Which was good in quantity, quality and taste. Please note that if you don't eat spicy Food, you need to ask the restaurant to make it less spicy as by default they prepare it medium spicy.
Overall, we'd a lovely time at Ravindra and I highly recommend it to anyone who visits any nearby area to have food here. I've been to all the restaurants run by the Veg treat group and trust me you can visit anyone of them as they serve...
Read moreI've been a regular at Hotel Ravindra for over a decade now, and I must say, they've consistently maintained their reputation. Located conveniently near Dahisar station, this gem is perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. What I truly appreciate is their commitment to quality food at budget-friendly prices. With options for both AC and Non AC seating, the choice is always yours.
The service here is commendable, with attentive and helpful waitstaff. Hygiene is clearly a priority, which is evident from the moment you step in. One particular touch that I love is how they promptly serve a refreshing glass of water as soon as you take your seat - a small gesture that sets them apart from the trend of using bottled water.
I must applaud Hotel Ravindra for offering the rare option of Thali meals, something not easily found in many restaurants these days. From budget-friendly choices to more deluxe selections, the variety is impressive. And let's not forget about the taste - the food is consistently delicious.
In an era where eateries come and go, Hotel Ravindra's ability to uphold their standard and continue serving scrumptious meals is truly praiseworthy. If you're in the area, I highly recommend a visit to relish their offerings.

Read moreDO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
I've been going to this place since my childhood as we used to go for family dinner. But today after a lot of bad experiences over the past few months I have to say that I won't recommend this place to anyone. The waiters are absolutely arrogant and impolite. The person who takes orders for delivery talks as if he's doing a favor on you. Even when dining at the restaurant, few waiters would just stare at you while eating and expect you to place next order very quickly making the experience uncomfortable.
I've been ordering breakfast/brunch from this place lately for more than one month now and here are a few incidents that occurred.
Here's a recent incident: I ordered a rava dosa for home delivery for which the person on call agreed for the delivery within 0.5 hrs, it took them more than 1 hour so I called and told that my lunch time is over now, i cant have the order anymore, the guy at the counter says "fir aap order hi mat karo!"
Another incident Delivery guy expected me to pay money over and above the price mentioned in receipt and says he doesn't have change, later gives me the change when I said I'll adjust it in next order.
