I recently visited a Mangrove forest Boating located in Arriyakuppam area, Puducherry and I have to say I had a great experience there. The point is located on the coast, which offers a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding areas.

The facilities at the point were clean and well-maintained. They had restrooms. They also had a storage option for the kayaks, which was great as we didn't have to worry about carrying our equipment back and forth.

The kayaks were in good condition and easy to maneuver, even for a beginner like me. The water conditions were calm and perfect for kayaking.

The staff was very safety-conscious and made sure we were aware of all the safety features and guidelines before setting off. They provided life jackets for us, which were mandatory to wear. I felt very secure throughout my time on the water.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the boating experience. They answered all our questions and gave us tips on where to go for the best views.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Mangrove forest Boating in Arriyankuppam area. The facilities were clean, the equipment was in good condition, and the staff was helpful and friendly. This place is situated on outskirts of city and here you'll see the famous Arikamedu remains and the mangrove forest.

It is a good 45min + boat ride, charging you at 500 per person for a shared boat and they let you experience the forest very closely.

The ocean mouth, boat dockyard, Arikamedu and forest itself when viewed by their boat is a good experience. The forest shore has one hand crab, which are found in colonies and they are amazing tiny creatures to watch.

Although it is a basic outing experience, nothing fancy about it, but it is being managed well. You may keep it as a last to do activity in my opinion. Also choose the earliest slot for travelling.
