The post office has improved a lot, since the last couple of years. Cash availability has increased, more hospitable staff has been recruited, speed, if not very fast, has considerably increased over the time. It also serves as an AADHAAR ENROLLMENT AND UPDATION SERVICE centre. Aadhar related tasks can be done from 2-3PM on working days. It is a very neat and clean and tidy post office. Located right on Jessore Road. Except MO, and parcel services, almost all kind of payments and letters can be...

This place is identified as PERMANENT ENROLLMENT CENTER as per the UIDAI website to update your Aadhar card. I visited the PO on 11th Dec 2020, to update my address. However as per the staffs all slots for aadhaar update was booked till April 2021. No notice was given, also nothing was mentioned related to any slot booking to update aadhaar details. Very poor communication. No one has any information. Please do not visit this PO if you want to update your...
