The beach is worse than the garbage depot. Piles upon piles of trash. Not a pretty sight. And the kids playing soldiers in the dirty sand and throwing "grenades" (plastic bottles full of sand) is a sad thing. Thankfully, the viewing platform is a couple of meters above the beach and away from the fog of war. Worst thing: a charge of 5000 IDR to enter the area with the eateries. Why? It's little money, yes, but what exactly is it for - broken benches, dirty beach and anyhow overpriced warungs? There isn't even a pretty view - you can safely...
