Pulau Rubia — Local services in Sabang

Crystal clear water! You can see families of fish swimming from the jetty area and also by the sea shore. Since I brought my 3 yrs old son, he can enjoy watching and feeding the fish while we took turn to snorkel and watch him at the same time. The sandy part is quite small, the rest of the island is covered by rocks. The water was calm so it is safe to snorkel without a guide. We rented all the equipments from Iboih. If you are hungry, fret not as there are plenty of stalls to choose from on that island. No proper shower facilities here but you can rinse yourself at a nearby well or pay IDR 5,000 and use one of the stall's toilet. Dari hotel di Sabang, kami menggunakan kapal yang di tengahnya ada kaca, untuk melihat biota-biota di bawah laut.

Ah, belum sampe pulau saja, kami terkesima akan kejernihan air laut di sepanjang jalan.

Kami tak bosan-bosan memandang ke bawah, dan kami menemukan kura-kura berenang dengan santainya, jadi pingin buru-buru nyebur.

Sesampainya di pulau, ternyata sudah banyak kawan-kawan lain yang bersnorkeling ria, kami ditawarkan ke salah satu spot snorkeling "Coral Garden" namanya tapi dengan menambah lagi biaya.

Sehubungan udah sampe sini, dan snorkeling di sekitaran pantai udah penuh juga, akhirnya kami mengiyakan.

Sampai di spot langsung nyebur, Masya Allah, airnya jenih bangettttttt, ini snorkeling dengan air jernih pertama seumur hidup saya. Biasanya tak sejernih ini, bener-bener clear, jarang pandang jauh banget ke depan dan ke bawah, alhamdulillah.

Setelah puas, kami kembali ke Pulau Rubiah, disini banyak yang jualan, dan letaknya di tebing atau pinggir pantai, sehingga kita bisa menikmati makanan sambil memandang pantai.
