My son daughter and I stayed at Mr Beans for 4 nights and loved every minute.|Good air con and fast WiFi made the children happy and super comfy beds, hot showers and breathtaking views pleased us all. Buchari and his wife could not be more helpful - we were brought breakfast in bed on our first morning as we slept in to recover from the night bus. They arranged a superb dolphin snorkelling trip where we saw dolphins (obvs) an underwater volcano (amazing trip) reef shark and stingray. Although some of the best snorkelling we did was 5m from our balcony - moray eels and lion fish! Their daughter is a delight and banana pancakes are a treat. Buchari even gave us a free lift to the ferry on the morning if our departure! Yes it’s a bit rustic and there are improvements going on- but the whole island is rustic and this is what makes it so charming. If you’re looking for 5* accommodation don’t come to Sabang! In fact I’d rather more people didn’t visit as I don’t want it to become popular and change. Our fave place for food and drink was Ricky’s - Nasaka coffee few mins walk south - and yulias 5 mins walk north is a nice place to hang out with sunloungers and good coffee. Everyone raves about blixio the Italian place but my tuna was so rubbery - the worst meal of my stay.|Top tip - buy your own snorkelling gear as the ones you rent invariably have issues - and they aren’t expensive. |We had 2 very enjoyable dives with Iboih Dive and highly...

Read moreThe location of this resort is its strongest asset, offering breathtaking views. We also enjoyed the food, both within the resort and at the surrounding delicious eateries and cafes.
However, these positives were drastically overshadowed by the poor room condition and inefficient service.
· Poor Cleanliness: We were disappointed to find a layer of dust covering the cups and tables upon check-in. · Missing Basic Amenities: The room lacked fundamental essentials. There were no clothes drying racks, and surprisingly, not even a trash bin was provided. We also found only one foot towel for the entire room. · Odor and Pest Issues: The bathroom smelled overwhelmingly of mothballs. Worse, leaving the lights with closed door on in the evening would result in a room swarming with water bugs upon our return – a truly frustrating experience. · Inexperienced Staff: The staff seemed unprepared. A simple request for a new bedsheet and blanket took them an excessively long...
