One of the oldest malls in Semarang. Although modern malls are blooming in Semarang, Ciputra Mall, some also call it 'Citraland', is the place you can always count on. Ciputra Mall is the mall for many Semarang's firstly-established international stores, long before others. Some famous stores include Planet Surf, Nike, DC, Reebok, etc. Hungry? Many international restaurants can be found here. Some include Starbucks, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Excelso, etc. Cheap products? You can also catch local stores here, for example Ramayana (mostly about fashion), RPM (they sell cheap football-related products), etc. Beside that, you can also find gym center, money changer, optician, etc. This mall also provides connecting bridge to neighboring mall (Matahari Mall). The only handicap is their parking lot, so use valét service as a way out.
The oldest mall at Semarang city. This old yet reliable still have it's own unique magnitude even until now. Perhaps it's location is the key: a very strategic location, at the most famous Semarang's icon the "Simpang Lima". The building did improved, though not as lavish as the Paragon Mall. The tenants also evolved from the first preference by local tenants, now nearly every international merchants available here. A cinema and arcade games also available. Public facilities are good, it's safe and clean here, unfortunatelly not much chairs available for visitors. The traffic jam and seeking for a parking lot can be very excruciating especially at the weekend.
