I used to do my own shopping off a Wednesday, weekly shop as that's all I can afford, but over the last few months being doing it of a Thursday due to helping an elderly dissabled man and knowing that's the day you stock up with new stock, this Man will only eat the homemade chicken dinners which I can normally get him Thursday to wednesday in date, but last week I went to my local branch as I do every week, these dinners were moved to a different fridge I asked a staff member for a little help, reluctantly she helped with attitude, and when I found said meals they had them only in until the 3rd so all I could buy was 3,I asked this same lady if she could find out if they had them in stock room I was met with a straight no and told not to mess up the fridge looking for in date dinners, now I'd understand completely if this lady was ran off her feet she wasn't,many times I've heard people complaining of her rudeness to customers when clearly you get paid to help costumers to the best of your ability,I too worked in retail many years ago and were told to go above & beyond for my customers to which I happily did,Ive been shopping in Aldi Athlone for years and as many staff are lovely this lady needs a lesson on respect, worst ignorance experience I have had in there as long as I'm...

Keep it up Aldi -...

There was tiny table to wipe down the already contaminated trolly that customer had to touch but no hand sanitizer Shame on you I was in Supervalue in Athlone & they had thecworks, even hand washing stations outside. A company of this size taking in the revenue that ye are ye can qell afford to protect your customers & staff better.!!! The two stars are for the security guy & the lovely guy at the till with NO...
